Welcome to Slane

Slane (Baile Shláine) is a village in County Meath. Although the village dates back to the 18th century, Slane is perhaps best known for the Rock Concerts that it has hosted since 1981.

The village stands steep on a hillside beside the River Boyne. Slane Castle stands 1km upstream fromthe village and due to it's situation on the hillside provides a natural arena for concerts.
