The Actors Point started out as a weekend class at the Cork Arts Theatre for a number of months. It devised and created its unique program The Actors Portfolio, which received a lot of interest in Limerick. Finding a new home in Newcastle West, The Actors Point continues to nurture the skills and talent of adult actors wishing to take their acting to a professional level. A central aspect in our training philosophy is the balance of learning, applying critical thinking, doing and reflecting upon outcomes. Adding career advice, industry information and realistic, positive feedback is essential. Students who take The Actor's Portfolio, The Actor's Point professional program, are provided additional personal tuition on a weekly basis. Whichever course you choose, practical experience is essential.
