Founded in 1968 as Birr and Distict Auto Club by a handful of motorsport enthusiasts in the Birr area. It has since developed into one of the Midlands most successful motorclubs with over 200 members from the counties Offaly, North Tipperary, Laois, Westmeath and Roscommon.
