WAR OF WORDS BREAKS OUT OVER MITCHELSTOWN SPORTS COMPLEX PROPOSAL
The proposal to develop a sports and leisure complex at Clonlough, Mitchelstown is again topping the local agenda this week as a war of words broke out between two of the key players involved.
The chairman of the Mitchelstown Leisure Centre Group, Ben Lynch, told The Avondhu that they are ‘unhappy’ with key elements of the project and that ‘efforts to pressurise the leisure group into declaring for the development will be resisted unless these issues are resolved’.
