PLAYGROUND GETS 8,000 EURO BOOST
Mitchelstown Playground committee got a substantial shot in the arm this week with a significant financial donation from the local community council. Marie McGrath, treasurer of the playground committee accepted a cheque for €8,000 which was raised as part of the recent Mitchelstown Community Council draw.
“The money raised will go in no small way to help with the playground debt,” Mitchelstown community council PRO, Michael White told The Avondhu.
