OFFICIAL OPENING OF NEW MITCHELSTOWN LIBRARY
The Mayor of Cork, Tim Lombard was on hand to perform the official opening of the new Mitchelstown Library at Sutton’s Court on Thursday of last week. Patrons of the library came out in force to enjoy the occasion as the much needed facility, which has already gained 1,300 new members since opening, got the official nod.

The Mayor of County Cork, Cllr. Tim Lombard was among the speakers at the opening ceremony, and, during his contribution, he thanked the architects and information technology departments of Cork County Council, the contractors involved in the construction, and Cork County Library staff for their role in stocking, opening, and operating the new library….
