MINISTER ANNOUNCES FREE GP COVER FOR LONG TERM ILLNESS SUFFERERS
Minister of State at the Department of Health, Roisin Shorthall, attending last week’s Primary Care Conference at the Livinghealth Clinic in Mitchelstown, announced that GP fees for those with long term illnesses would be abolished in early March 2012, followed in 2013 by the abolition of fees for those on the high dependency drugs scheme.
