LEISURE COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN REFUTES CLAIMS BY FORMER DIRECTOR
Ben Lynch, the chairman of the Mitchelstown Leisure Centre Committee, has refuted claims made by Frank Mullally, a former director of the committee, in last week’s issue of The Avondhu to the effect that Mr Lynch refused to consider a plan for the canon’s field, which would, it was claimed, save €327,000 on the subsequently approved blueprint.
