Great year for Glanworth Active Retirement
Glanworth Active Retirement had a very enjoyable and successful year which closed with a wonderful party. Thanks to our guests, singers and our PP, Fr Corkery who is always so helpful with his time and musical skills.
We were delighted to have the company of the Fermoy Mens' Club, represented by Paul O'Kelly Lynch and Michael Dunne. They explained the need for such clubs and we feel the mens' club is a great asset to Fermoy and the surrounding area. We wish them the best with all their endeavours.
Having enjoyed bus tours, socials, bingo, computer classes and out fortnightly get-togethers, we will keep in touch over the recess with our trips arranged which are as follows: On July 17, we have our day trip to Galway; we will be going to see Daniel O'Donnell in Cork on August 9 and our 3-day tour is arranged for Wicklow/Wexford on Sept 1st, staying at the Talbot Hotel in Wexford.
