BUS EIREANN WILL NOT ABANDON FERMOY AND MITCHELSTOWN
Following the withdrawal of the Aircoach service to Dublin through Fermoy and Mitchelstown, Bus Eireann have vowed that they will not be leaving the people here stranded.
Speaking to The Avondhu, regional manager for Cork, Joe Fitzgerald said, “We have no intention of pulling our services out of Fermoy or Mitchelstown – we are not going to leave people stranded.”
He added, “We will not be abandoning the people of Fermoy or Mitchelstown or towns like them around Cork and from this Sunday we are introducing a quicker express bus that goes straight to Dublin Airport from both stops.”
