60,000 EURO WIN FOR NELL IN SATURDAYS BIG MONEY SHOW
Flying the flag for Munster, Nell Walsh from Kilworth appeared on last Saturday’s Big Money TV game show, where she scooped a whopping €60,000 on the night. The Avondhu spoke with Nell to find out how her TV experience was and what she plans to do with her winnings.
“It was great, everything was very nice. I wasn’t a bit nervous. Derek Mooney was lovely, he was very helpful. I have three sons and six grandchildren, so plenty of presents for all,” Nell added.
The Avondhu asked Nell if she was planning on taking a trip to the sun, having already visited Portugal and Spain previously.
“There won’t be any holiday, I have two grandchildren getting married this year, so that will be enough expense,” she laughed.
“I am going to see my friend, Johnny Carroll perform at the Carrigaline Court Hotel this Saturday night, which I am looking forward to. But I won’t be staying over, I like to come back to my own bed,” Nell added.
