Welcome to Lucan

Lucan (Leamhcán) is a suburban town 16 km from Dublin City centre on the River Liffey. For the purposes of this website it incorporates nearby Finnstown and Adamstown.

Lucan is generally considered in two parts - old Lucan, and new Lucan. Old Lucan consists of the main town of Lucan, containing smaller roads and shops; new Lucan includes the newer housing developments. Lucan is situated between two major shopping centres, Liffey Valley and Blanchardstown.
