Inishowen Athletics Club was founded in 2001 by a group of local athletic enthusiasts from Carndonagh, Moville, and Clonmany. Throughout the first three years, Inishowen A.C. catered solely for juvenile athletes. In 2004, senior athletes started to compete for the Club. Currently, the Club has over 100 registered members. The Club competes in cross-country, track & field, road and indoor competitions. There are also a number of senior athletes that compete in triathlon.
