Fermoy E Centre expands providing state-of-the art facilities for businesses
The E Centre in the Faber Castell Business Campus in Fermoy, has been in operation for the past three years. Now, in a further welcome shot-in-the-arm for local entrepreneurs and business start-ups, the centre has been extended to provide even more state-of-the art facilities for start-ups and businesses.
They're now accepting applications for office space with own-door offices for one to four people in addition to the current 'hot desk' or rent-a-desk shared office space.
Julie Crowley, E Centres Coordinator says the newly extended offices and training facilities funded and developed by Cork County Council will offer start-ups that are not only cost effective official rental in a supportive environment, but give start-ups and small business the opportunity to grow.
The office space is equipped with high speed broadband, 24/7 access, security, complimentary car parking, shared kitchen facilities and standalone training facilities. "This will be of enormous value to businesses, start-ups, entrepreneurs and community groups in the town and surrounding areas."
In welcoming the extension of the E Centre, County Mayor, Noel O'Connor said: "Supporting business and start-ups is crucial to progressing economic development of the region. The Fermoy E Centre provides start-of-the-art facilities as well as high quality, professional fit out and high speed fibre optic broadband at an all-inclusive rate that is exceptional value."
E Centres are also successfully established in Charleville, Macroom, Bantry, Millstreet and Bandon with more such facilities due to open soon in the county.
They're designed to provide an ideal base for entrepreneurs, micro enterprises, remove workers, 'mompreneurs' and anyone wishing to access cost effective, high spec serviced offices in the region.
The initiative is funded by Cork County Council through the Economic Development Fund. Anyone who'd like more information can contact Julie Crowley at info@ecentres.ie or visit www.ecentres.ie.
Businesses that already operate out of the Fermoy ECentre are iSeek Web Development, Delphi (formerly FCI) and Glandore Systems.
