DISAPPOINTMENT AS SOCCER CLUB DENIED CIVIC RECEPTION
Disappointment has been expressed this week from a number of quarters about a decision by Fermoy town council not to grant a civic reception to Fermoy Soccer Club. A vote on the proposed civic reception was taken in private following the April meeting of Fermoy Town Council on Tuesday, April 17; but, in a decision that has shocked many people in the town, it failed to receive the support it needed from councillors.
