CLAW HAMMERS AND BASEBALL BATS USED IN AGGRAVATED BURGLARY
A Fermoy man is recovering this week following an aggravated burglary in which claw hammers and baseball bats were used.
The frightening incident happened in Glencullen, Duntahane Road on Wednesday of last week, January 11, at approximately 3pm when a man, the owner of the house, allowed a person into his home.
“Three people followed wearing balaclavas and carrying baseball bats and a claw hammer with which they used to beat the man,” a garda spokesman told The Avondhu.
