CANNABIS SEIZED IN KILDORRERY & RATHCORMAC
Fermoy drugs unit, backed up by local gardai carried out two raids, under warrant, on Tuesday, November 2.
The first raid took place at a premises in Kildorrery on Tuesday morning where gardai discovered a sophisticated unit that was concealed and was being used for the cultivation of cannabis plants.
A number of plants were seized to the value of €1,000. A 23-year old man is helping gardai with their enquiries.
On Tuesday evening, a similar raid took place in Rathcormac where a sophisticated cultivation unit was located and a cannabis plant to the value of €500 was seized.
A number of people are being interviewed and examinations and photos were taken at both scenes.
