50K DRUG SEIZURE IN KILWORTH
A young man has been remanded in custody following the seizure of €50,000 worth of drugs in Ballinalacken, Kilworth.
Fermoy Drugs Unit assisted by local gardai searched a house in Kilworth on Monday last, January 3 and found what they believe to be cannabis valued at €24k and cocaine to the value of €26k.
A 21-year old male from outside the jurisdiction with an English address was arrested under the Drug Trafficking Act. He appeared in Mallow District Court on Tuesday last on charges of the possession of drugs for sale and supply.
The drugs were taken to the garda forensic lab for analysis.
