30 NEW JOBS AS FERMOY SERVICE STATION OPENS
Celebrating 30 years in business, Fermoy man Liam Fitzgerald and Amber Oil are set to open their latest service station this week. The new Amber station in Fermoy will incorporate a Costcutter Shop, a restaurant and an off-licence.
“When we started all those years ago our focus was firmly on giving our customers the best price for fuel and we still maintain this aim today,” CEO, Liam Fitzgerald told The Avondhu.
Amber Oil now employs 365 people countrywide and will be providing 30 full and part-time jobs at the Fermoy station.
“When a company is not going forward then it is going backward and we have already opened five new stations this year alone. Here in Fermoy for our new station we have teamed up with Fermoy’s leading businessman, Dave Ryan. It is people of this calibre that Amber Oil wants to work with and, as we continue our expansion plans across the country, we will be looking for more people like Dave Ryan to come on board,” Mr Fitzgerald said.
The new Amber Oil Station will open this week and Dave Ryan is looking forward to welcoming customers to his new business.
“I am delighted to be involved with Amber Oil and I’m looking forward to providing the people of Fermoy with good value and customer service in the years to come,” Dave Ryan said. The new service station in Fermoy is part of a €7 million Amber Oil expansion.
“The new station is Amber Oil’s commitment to provide the people of Fermoy with good value fuels and I am delighted to be working with the people and businesses of my home town Fermoy,” Liam Fitzgerald concluded.
