How do I add a new business listing?
When you are logged in, go to the My Account page and click on the link to “Create New Listing”.
You will then be asked to choose a listing type: Free, Advanced or Premium.
If you create a Premium or Advanced listing, you will be brought to a payment page to enter card details before the listing appears on MyTown.ie.

How much does it cost to place a business listing?
The cost of a business listings depends on the type of listing you choose and the number of towns that you choose to set your listing to appear in.
Premium Listings appear first on a page, and you get a dedicated page on MyTown.ie for your business. This page can feature descriptions, opening times, prices, images, a photo and form for users to contact you. The cost of a Premium Listing is €150 plus VAT annually.
Advanced Listings appear before free listings on a page and after Premium Listings. The listing will show your logo, a link to your website and a brief description of your business. We also provide a form for users to contact you. The cost of an Advanced Listing is €50 plus VAT annually.
Free Listings allow you to feature your business name, address and telephone number on an alphabetical list of businesses in your town and category.
Premium and Advanced listings can be set to appear in 3 towns for the prices mentioned above. If the service/product is available in a wider area, the listing can be set to appear in further towns for an additional cost which is described on our Advertising Page.

How are listings ordered on the listings page?
Businesses are ordered by priority, with Premium listings having the highest priority, followed by Advanced and then free. Therefore Premium listings will always appear before Advanced and free listings; similarly Advanced listings will always appear before free listings.
If there are more than one Premium or Advanced listings appearing on a page, the order of those listings is random each time the page is loaded. This gives each listing on the same priority an equal chance of appearing first.
Free listings are listed alphabetically. We list free listings that have been verified by users first, followed by unverified listings.

How do I upgrade my listing?
If you already have a listing on MyTown.ie, please contact sales@mytown.ie with your listing name and your username; let us know if you would like to upgrade your listing to Advanced or Premium status.

How do I update/remove my listing?
If you have entered this listing to MyTown.ie, login to MyTown.ie and go to your My Account page and click on My listings. You will then be able to edit/remove your listing.
If your business is already listed on MyTown.ie but you have not entered it, please contact us at sales@mytown.ie and let us know your username and listing name - we will then assign you access to edit/remove your listing.

Can I list my business in multiple towns?
Free listings can be featured in one town (and category) only.
Advanced and Premium listings can (where appropriate) be set to appear in multiple towns. For more information contact sales@mytown.ie.

How do I pay for my listing?
Our preferred payment method is by either Laser, Visa or Mastercard. Payments can be made from our payments page.
Payments can also be made by Bank deposit/transfer: Bank: AIB, Douglas Court, Cork; Account Name: MYTOWN WEB LTD; Account Number: 42148057; Sort Code 93-43-48 (please include your name on the payment narrative).
