Still privately owned by the Baring family, Lambay is home to an adapted medieval castle and an Edwin Lutyens-designed estate.

The island is accessible, by prior permission only, from Rogerstown Harbour, 4 km away, 27 km north of Dublin in Rush.

An island located in Dublin Bay in Ireland, about 5km long and 800 m wide, lying roughly parallel to the shore off Clontarf, Dollymount, Raheny, Kilbarrack, and facing Sutton.

The island is connected to the mainland by the Bull Bridge, today a one-lane wooden road bridge (with weight and height restrictions) at the southern (Clontarf/Dollymount) end, and by a broad causeway at Raheny, approximately halfway along, and forms part of Raheny and Clontarf districts.

A small uninhabited island situated directly north of Howth Harbour.

The Eye is a townland in its own right, with a registered area of 21.5 hectares. Ireland's Eye is served by two small boat companies from Howth Harbour in the summer months. Access is not controlled but it is private property, forming part of the Howth Estate.

The Baily Lighthouse, on the southeastern part of Howth Head, is maintained by the Commissioners of Irish Lights.

The first lighthouse on this site was built in about 1667 by Sir Robert Reading, and was one of six that Reading had received letters patent to build from Charles II in 1665.
