Killarney Library, Co. Kerry: 25th June – 30th July
Kerry One World Centre presents The Visions of Africa Photography Exhibition 2012, which is currently being exhibited. Mr. Jimmy Deenihan T.D. Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht officially launched this annual photographic exhibition at Siamsa Tíre, Tralee on Friday May 25th 2012. The Exhibition will be exhibited in in Killarney Library for the month of July.
The annual event features thirty striking images by both amateur and professional photographers, which portray a positive image of rural and urban Africa. A variety of photographic styles reflect the diverse nature of the African continent through images of landscape, people, wildlife and sport. Our panel of four African and three Irish judges selected the thirty featured images from over four hundred entries from across the world.
