Cork (Corcaigh) is the third biggest city in Ireland (after Dublin and Belfast). The city is a major sea-port with quays and docks on the river Lee; it is the worlds second largers natural city harbour - after Sydney.
Cork has got all the infrastructure that you would expect of a city of it's size, with Airport, Rail-link, Shopping Centres, Cinemas, Theatres, Sports Stadiums, Colleges, etc. The retail area of Cork is concentrated around Patrick Street and Oliver Plunket and Merchants Quay, while the main bar/pub area is around Washington Street.
Industry is what attracts many people to Cork, Cork is the Irish home to Pfizer, Apple, EMC and Cork is also the brewing place for Murphys Irish Stout.
