St. Peter's Luncheon Club which was started just over thirty years ago, in 1969 is one of the oldest services in the parish. The purpose of the Luncheon Club is to organise subsided lunches for the elderly in the area. Approximately 180 meals are served each week, Monday to Fridays inclusive. This includes meals which are brought to those who are unable to join in the club due to being housebound etc.
